We, the Saint Anthony of Padua Church, participate in the mission of the Diocese of Honolulu to bring Christ to the world. We are a community of faith that lives and promotes a vibrant family spirit in the Marianist tradition, Catholic spirituality, and service to the people of God on Maui. Vision Statement
We recognize that we are companions on the journey of faith following the Church's leadership of living the spirit of this Year of Faith in love and witnessing to Jesus. With the gospel values of Jesus Christ for our firm foundation we look for more particular guidance and directions from the Diocesan Road Map and the Marianist Vision 2020 statement to revitalize the apostolic mission of St. Anthony parish.
The Marianists' Vision 2020 calls us to visualize ourselves and to be faithful as an ongoing part of Fr. Chaminade's missionary project that encourages us to be a faith-filled community in mission here at St. Anthony parish as well as in our pre-school, grade school and high school. We see ourselves as partners in mission with other communities of the Family of Mary as well as with other individuals and communities that seek to educate and form communities of faith that advance justice, reconciliation and the integrity of creation. We strive to work with and partner ourselves with people of good will wherever we may find them.
